If your looking for a detailed true professional realtor, George is your guy. I was in another state, therefore I really needed to rely and trust my realtor. He stayed in constant communication with me, and guided me through the entire process. I would definitely work with George again.

George was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We had a unique situation where we were looking at homes in different areas of the state. He was always more than willing to make a long drive to show us different houses; whether that meant prior to work in the morning, evenings during the week, or seeing multiple houses on the weekend. He was honest, down to earth, and always made us feel comfortable throughout the process. George bent over backwards for us and did not stop until we found the exact home we were looking for. As a first time home buyer in my fifties, I was nervous to say the least, I was referred to George by my Brother in Law and the minute I started working with George, I knew I had made the right decision. George was with me every step of the way, his professional referrals, from the mortgage broker, to the home inspection company, to the attorney for my closing were all amazing, and a reflection on George and his experience. I purchased my home during the Covid-19 insanity in the housing market, George took the time to show me many homes, we wrote many offers, but he knew I had my heart set on a home we were a back-up offer on. George went above and beyond working hand in hand with the sellers realtor, my mortgage broker and the sellers attorney to make my dream a reality. I would wholeheartedly refer George to anyone who needs not just a realtor, but a professional who can get the job done!!

While working with Geroge I found him to be very knowledgeable and professional and the whole process. Well looking for a competitive pricing he provided me with a in-depth analysis of the local market which help me price my house accordingly. George has been fantastic through the whole process. He helped us find an amazing home in less than two months. When we first met George he said he would guide us through the whole process of buying a house, since we were first time buyers we had no clue. George was very true to his word. He was responsive, patient, very patient, and extremely knowledgeable about each step in buying a house. If we had a concern, George would get back to us immediately. He was always available to go see a house with us, even if it was last minute. Even after purchasing the house George helped guide us through the mortgage and closing processes. It was great having a realtor that had so much experience. If you are buying your first home and want someone that is reliable, knowledgeable and will help you through the whole process we highly recommend George.

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful my home buying experience was thanks to George. I have never worked with such an intelligent and well informed realtor; his expertise in the home selection process was truly impeccable. Needless to say, we trusted George’s opinion throughout the whole home buying process with no doubts in our mind. His experience in the field, as well as his professionalism lands him as the best of the best. Though I can sit here and talk for years about his brilliance, one trait of his that truly stood out was his perseverance and determination. George stood by our side for years looking for the perfect home, while other realtors would have given up and moved on. Needless to say, we recommend George to anyone interested in buying a property of their own. George not only was our realtor but we also consider him a family member. There are not enough stars to describe George’s character, consideration, and professionalism. After living in our first home for 36 years, and the kids out on their own, my wife and I needed someone to help and guide us through this real estate process. We gathered the current process of selling and buying a home would be stressful and over whelming with current regulations and requirements.George relieved us of this throughout this project. His attention to detail with all venues we experienced was so organized and thorough, and all the while being so considerate and calming when communicating with us. He exhibits his professional knowledge with a sincere and caring approach because he cares about people. That is a characteristic that is not found to often in business and community. George helped my wife and I find a new home back in 2017. From the first meeting we ever had with him, we knew that we were in good hands with someone we could trust to help us find exactly what we were looking for. We never felt rushed or got the sense that we were being pushed into buying any house that we looked at (and there were many). After while it felt more like hanging out with a friend than it did house hunting. At our closing, he even held and played with our daughter while my wife and I signed our papers. We would recommend George to anyone who is thinking of either buying or selling a home or property. There is no doubt that he will show you the same dedication and willingness to help you in any way he possibly can.

George is a fabulous agent! I really felt that George was there for us during the entire process from beginning to end. He responds to texts and phone calls quickly. He was available for showings at short notice. He opened our eyes to options that we previously had not considered. We ended up finding a much better house than we expected in our price range. As first time home buyers my wife and I had no idea what all went in to purchasing a house. Right from our first meeting with George I knew we found the right agent to help us achieve our lifelong goal of home ownership. George took the time to explain the whole process to us, and was there to help every step of the way; oftentimes anticipating things ahead of time and reaching out to us before we had to reach out to him. He helped us every step of the way with recommendations on mortgage agents, attorneys, home inspectors, etc. I cannot recommended George strongly enough to anyone looking for a real estate agent. You need to be able to trust your real estate agent implicitly; and that is what you will find with George. We could tell when we were looking at houses with George that he was truly concerned with finding the right house for us; not simply any house for us. I have been involved helping other couples look at houses, and believe me when I tell you that not all real estate agents operate this way. For them, closing a deal is the most important thing and they will try to sell you on houses that are not the right fit. That never happened with George, he was very honest about flaws in houses we saw and never pressured us one bit to move on a house or make an offer on something that wasn’t exactly what we were looking for. Once we found the house we wanted, George was there making every step of the process as quick easy as it could have possibly been. Timing was important in our closing and George’s attention to detail ensured we hit every milestone and made every deadline; leading to a smooth closing and two very happy homeowners.

I chose Mr. Hansen for his impressive sales record, but the real benefit to having him sell for us was his extensive knowlege of issues having to do plumbing, heating, electrical and radon. We didn’t spend time on superficial issues like cabinet colors and closet space but instead focused on important things that can make or break a sale. We were selling an older home and his unusual abilities as a realtor made the sale possible. He was very patient even when I wasn’t. We will use him as an agent again when the time comes.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with George during our house hunting experience and we were very happy with his expertise. We we’re first time home buyers from out of town. George was very knowledgeable with the Scotch Plains- Fanwood area and was able to answer all questions and concerns about each neighborhood. He is friendly, smart, honest, and very good at his job. I trusted his opinion throughout the entire process, from showings through closing, and even with advice provided after we moved into the house. He always made himself available and was more than accommodating to our very hectic schedules. I highly recommend George to all buyers and sellers, he will not let you down.

George is a great realtor. He is dependable, knowledgeable and takes the time to understand your needs as a buyer, and makes sure they are met. We looked at many houses and along the way George taught me a lot about what to look for. He is straightforward on what condition a house might be in, or if there was something he felt was a concern. He was always a little early to our appointments and kept in touch with texts. I’m glad I found him because he really found my dream home.

First-time home buyer with no expectations of what to expect from the home-buying process, my prospective broker, etc. I forget how my wife and I were introduced to George, but having him as our broker was a great experience. I was warned that brokers will tell you whatever you want to hear and that they will push you to buy a house even if they can tell you might not be fully interested in the property. That could not be further from the truth with George – at first we thought he was too quiet, but it turns out that he was letting my wife and I make the decision for ourselves. Further, he was always completely honest with us. If we asked him what he thought of certain things in a house, he would tell us the truth.. no sugar coating to push us towards a buy. I would fully recommend anyone to use George if interested in buying a house in the areas in which he serves.

My wife and I recently bought and sold a house on Friday June 9th. George Hansen is “the man”!!! We donÂ’t make that comment lightly. We really felt the need to write what an impressive experience we had with George. We previously listed our house for sale in North Plainfield, NJ a year ago and received no real offers for six months. We wanted to try another direction and interviewed a number of local agents. George Hansen stood out for three main reasons 1) He had a track record of closing with a Gold Level Status 2) He really understood the market, buyers we would/would not attract and 3) was ready and did roll up his sleeves to get this thing sold (Â… even small repair work). George has a contagious positive attitude, which we all know that selling a house is painful. His attitude was so positive he was convinced we would have an offer the first week and move to a new home by June. So, after our house previously sat on the market for six months with No Offers, we get an offer for full asking price the next day. We then contracted George to find our dream home. Again, George did not disappoint. He did not apply any pressure, was knowledgeable about homes, areas, schools. He able to snif out potential issues in homes that weren’t ready visible. When we found our dream home, which already had an interested buyer, he worked his magic to make our case without paying more than we needed to. Again George Hansen is The Man. He made this incredible stressful time very easy. He communicates early and often. He has a great team that he pulls in to make it seamless less stressful experience, he worked with town inspectors to make CO process (Â…. PricelessÂ… kept us up at night) and got the job done and we could literally not be more happy. Hire George if you wan your home sold and/or buying your dream home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Again I cannot recommend anyone more highly for real needs that George Hansen, he is a true treasure in the business.

Most amazing realtor ever! Dealing with the longest closing ever…not his fault. As first- time home buyers we were completely clueless. George was willing to explain everything sometimes over and over again. Our search was long and stressful and sometimes I wanted to give up but George kept encouraging us to keep looking. Eventually we found a wonderful home! George has great knowledge of the Scotch Plains housing market and local building codes, and was extremely helpful selling of our house locally in Fanwood. George provided fantastic guidance getting our Fanwood house market ready and even assisted with some of the repairs himself! He also assisted us with locating our new house in Somerset County, which had everything on our wish list! George was responsive to situations as they would arise, and offered the services of many knowledgeable contacts in the industry such as electricians, mortgage bankers, home appraisers, etc. He is very professional and has a great sense of humor!

George Hansen, I can’t say enough about our experience. My wife and I were first time buyers and the idea of purchasing a home was a scary thought. George assisted us through the whole process and really listened to our needs/wants. We already had a child with another on the way so we really needed a home we could grow into. We are in a four bedroom house in a great area with good schools to boot. George was able to keep us grounded and make sure we really understood what we could afford. We leaned on him the whole process, from the start all the way through closing. This is not just a review, it is a thanks!

George helped us sell our large family home and find a new one to downsize . His work ethic and attention to detail was fantastic. He was responsive throughout the entire process, patient with us as we explored different neighborhoods and very respectful of our personal belongings and safety while he sold our house. I was moving to a part of New Jersey that I knew nothing about. I had decided that I would go to 10 open houses and pick the realtor I liked best as my guy. I am so glad that I picked George. George went out of his way for us the entire process from finding a home, to getting estimates for repairs required by sellers after the inspection, to helping us change our locks. I don’t know many agents that will meet you at Home Depot at 8:30am and show you what you need AFTER their commission check is collected. He was great and we consider him a friend!
